When to use Menu Express vs the full Waiterr manager

Menu Express — you have a PDF/image and just need a QR your guests can scan. Zero setup.
Waiterr manager — you want a dynamic digital menu (edit items, prices, photos, availability from a dashboard), plus online ordering, POS, KDS, loyalty, marketing…

Create a QR in 30 seconds

Go to waiterr.app/menu-express .
Drop your PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP (up to 15 MB).
(Optional) add an email to receive the QR + a magic edit link.
Click Generate my QR code — that’s it.

You now have:

A QR code PNG ready to print on table stands, receipts or a window sticker.
A public URL (waiterr.app/m/<code>) — mobile-friendly, brandable, shareable on Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Business.
An edit link to enrich the page later (logo, banner, opening hours, socials, address).

Enrich your public page (optional)

From the wizard or the edit link you got by email, add:

Establishment name — appears at the top of the branded page.
Logo + banner — take over the header, remove the Waiterr fallback.
Google Places import — one search, we prefill name, address, phone, website, coordinates, opening hours.
Social links — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp.
Contact info — clickable phone, email, address (opens Google Maps / Waze / Apple Maps).

Pro pack (one-time payment): remove the Waiterr watermark from the QR, unlock custom brand colours, high-resolution downloads and priority processing.

The QR is permanent, the content is not. Swap the PDF or image any time from the edit link — the QR keeps pointing to the same URL, your stickers stay valid.

That’s the biggest difference with tools that generate a static PDF URL: you don’t reprint every time your prices change.

Troubleshooting

File too big — compress your PDF (Adobe, ILovePDF) below 15 MB.
PDF looks weird on mobile — flatten to a single-column PDF or convert to a tall JPG.
Wrong menu uploaded — use the edit link from the confirmation email to replace it. QR keeps working.
Lost the edit link — contact support with the QR URL; we can regenerate the link.
