Accounting Groups (Taxes)

Accounting Groups define which tax rate applies to products based on service type.

Why Accounting Groups Exist

Products may have different tax rates depending on:

• Dine-in
• Takeaway
• Delivery

Example:

• Alcohol → 21%
• Food takeaway → 12%
• Non-food → 21%

Creating an Accounting Group

Provide:

• Group name
• Optional description
• Tax rate dine-in
• Tax rate takeaway
• Tax rate delivery
• Optional accounting code

Default Group

You can set a default accounting group for new products.
