Offline Mode

Offline Mode allows the POS to continue functioning even without internet.

What Works Offline

• Create orders
• Add items
• Manage cart
• Save orders (locally)
• Print receipts (local printers only)

What Does NOT Work Offline

• Online payments
• Sending orders to KDS (requires connection)
• Delivery module
• Customer data lookup
• Table status syncing

Syncing After Reconnection

When internet returns:

• Pending orders sync automatically
• KDS receives queued orders
• Delivery availability is restored
• Payment status updates

Best Practices

💡 Use local network printers for offline printing
💡 Avoid delivery orders offline
💡 Notify staff when device enters offline mode
